Hiriketiya gets the attention, but many of the stays, restaurants and beach clubs people know as “Hiriketiya” – and Blue Beach Island itself – are actually in Nilwella, the village right next door. We started Nilwella.com to give the area one honest, up-to-date guide.
Part of our team is in Hiriketiya, and that is where the local tips come from. Everything else is checked against at least two independent sources or the place's own website, and each guide shows when it was last updated.
The site is independent and non-commercial. No one pays to be listed, and we don't earn anything from the links on the site.
