Who runs the site

Nilwella.com is a non-commercial guide run privately by a small team.Questions about your data: hello@nilwella.com.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no comments and no newsletter, and we don't use cookies or tracking pixels. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify individual visitors.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The forecast and the map

Some features load data straight from other services in your browser, so those services see your IP address:

• the weather and sea forecast comes from Open-Meteo
• the map tiles come from OpenStreetMap

We don't send them anything else about you.

Stored in your browser

To make pages faster, the forecast is saved in your browser for a short while. This stays on your device – we never see it – and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.

Links to other sites

Links to maps, Instagram, booking sites and the places' own websites take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.

If you email us

We only use your address to reply, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.
